One of the most over-looked aspects of keeping warm in the winter is the use of base layers – which those engaging in many winter pursuits wouldn’t dream of foregoing. This Kore Thermal Long Sleeve Shirt will keep you warm and is very comfortable to wear. It is made from a quick-dry, brushed back material, which is designed to regulate your body heat and help to keep you warm, and in addition to these thermal properties, is also breathable and will wick moisture away from your skin. It is a snug fit to hug your body contours, although is so lightweight you won’t even notice that you have it on, and is long enough that it won’t come untucked, plus the sleeves feature thumb holes to stop them riding up when putting another layer over the top. It is the perfect choice when worn underneath something like one of our hoodies, jumpers or fleeces. It is olive green in colour and comes in a range of sizes from small to XXXL.  *The materials used to construct this product are: 92% polyester, 8% spandex, 225GSM.

Merino wool is a great material to make socks from as it not only helps to regulate body heat so as to help prevent sweating, but also wicks moisture away from the skin if you do sweat at all. This Merino blend material traps pockets of air which will help keep your feet warm in even the harshest of conditions, plus they have the advantage that even if they become damp they still maintain their insulating qualities, which is ideal when you are out on the bank in all weathers and if your footwear leaks at all. The material also has anti-bacterial properties. The toes and heels are shaped such that the socks will stay in place on your feet and they come far enough above your ankle that your trousers won’t ride up above the top of them. They come in a choice of black or olive, and in size UK 7-9 or UK 10-12.

It is an original custom design that has been overseen by Danny F throughout the process and has a large number of angling inspired design features. The neck comes up high enough that it will keep out any draughts, with a soft-touch flap to prevent the zipper from rubbing on your face or chin. The integral hood is adjustable via a toggle at the back, to enable it to fit perfectly over caps, and also to provide a tight enough fit that it won’t keep blowing off your head if it is windy. In addition to that, it features a rigid peak which not only helps it to keep its shape, but also encourages water to run off down the sides, rather than dripping down onto your face. It is shaped around the waist so that it is longer at the back, meaning that it will still keep you dry when you sit down and stops it riding up. The cuffs are also designed to prevent water from entering, such as when you raise your arms to cast – there is nothing worse than water running down your sleeves! – This is achieved by having Velcro fastenings which ensures a tight fit around your wrists, but which can easily be adjusted for comfort, depending on what you are doing at the time. The zips are high quality throughout and have been designed to prevent water from getting through either the main zip, or from entering the two large external pockets, which can be used either for storage or to protect your hands from the elements. A fan's favourite! The original Nanny Pat carries a special legacy as it was woven by none other than our very own Jon Mann's mum. Crafted with love and precision, it was the very first of its kind and since being part of the Korda beanie range, it's been our most popular to date. The vibrant green colour and cosy fit reflected her thoughtfulness and to keep Jon warm and focused during his countless hours by the water's edge. The Klassic Beanie will not only keep your head warm in any weather, but it is also very stylish to wear and comes in a choice of colours to make you stand out from the crowd – or the bush behind you when photographing a fish!It is a classic beanie shape and is designed to fit your head snugly, but with enough stretch in the knitted material that it is comfortable to wear and will fit almost any sized head.
