Merino wool is a great material to make socks from as it not only helps to regulate body heat so as to help prevent sweating, but also wicks moisture away from the skin if you do sweat at all. This Merino blend material traps pockets of air which will help keep your feet warm in even the harshest of conditions, plus they have the advantage that even if they become damp they still maintain their insulating qualities, which is ideal when you are out on the bank in all weathers and if your footwear leaks at all. The material also has anti-bacterial properties. The toes and heels are shaped such that the socks will stay in place on your feet and they come far enough above your ankle that your trousers won’t ride up above the top of them. They come in a choice of black or olive, and in size UK 7-9 or UK 10-12.

When you’re fishing there is nothing worse than getting wet feet, especially during the colder months when it can really make you feel cold and uncomfortable, and ruin your session! Whether this comes as a result of leaky footwear or running out without your shoes on when you get a take, the Kore Kamo Waterproof Socks will prevent that happening. The Waterproof Boonie Hat is the perfect choice when the weather can be unpredictable and is great for keeping your head dry and stopping rain dripping down your neck or getting in your eyes (or on your glasses). Our own design team re-modelled this classic military design, and opted for a 150gsm ripstop fabric, which is not only lightweight and extremely durable, but also dries very quickly should you get caught out in rain, or even fall in the lake!They are the perfect choice during the warmer months of the year, as this material also wicks moisture away from your skin and are also weaved to prevent Mosquito bites.
