Being able to keep your head dry whilst you’re fishing helps ensure that you stay comfortable, so we came up with the Kool Waterproof Cap. It retains the advantage of a normal cap, in that the peak helps to keep the sun out of your eyes, which is useful when fish spotting or casting, and it fits snugly on your head so wont easily fall or be blown off. But unlike a normal cap, it is made from a lightweight, water-repellent material which ensures that your head stays dry – plus if you are out in the rain, the peak will keep it out of your eyes or away from your polaroid glasses. The material is rip-stop, so if you do brush against brambles or similar whilst wearing it, then it isn’t easily damaged. One size fits all and it comes in a choice of olive green or black.

The Boonie Hat has a classic look with an all-round brim. It is a lightweight sun hat perfect for providing shade and sun protection. It is important to protect yourself from the sun whilst on the bank, anglers are very open to issues (such as skin cancer) caused by the sun due to how much time is spent outdoors.  The Boonie Hat is water resistant so can be used during those rainy seasons too. An adjustable cord within the crown offers a customisable fit to ensure they are secure and comfortable.  The Olive Boonie Hat is an understated dark olive water resistant waxed fabric is perfect for undercover work as well as keeping you dry. The contemporary Digital Camo will help you blend into the surroundings which helps you stay disguised in close range and stalking fishing situations around the lakes.

Merino wool is a great material to make socks from as it not only helps to regulate body heat so as to help prevent sweating, but also wicks moisture away from the skin if you do sweat at all. This Merino blend material traps pockets of air which will help keep your feet warm in even the harshest of conditions, plus they have the advantage that even if they become damp they still maintain their insulating qualities, which is ideal when you are out on the bank in all weathers and if your footwear leaks at all. The material also has anti-bacterial properties. The toes and heels are shaped such that the socks will stay in place on your feet and they come far enough above your ankle that your trousers won’t ride up above the top of them. They come in a choice of black or olive, and in size UK 7-9 or UK 10-12.

This Crew Neck Jumper is perfect for chilly evenings during the warmer months, or as one of several layers in the winter. The neck, cuffs and waist are made from a stretchy material to provide a good fit and to also keep warmth in, and the soft fleece inner helps make it very comfortable to wear. The sleeves have thumbholes, which help to keep your hands warm by keeping the cuffs over your hands when required, and also stops the sleeves riding up when adding another layer on top. These stylish Chino Shorts have been specifically designed for fishing, but also wouldn’t look out of place if being worn casually down the pub! They have a casual fit and the twill fabric – 95% cotton and 5% Spandex – is stretchy enough to make them very comfortable to wear. The fabric has been enzyme-washed – a more environmentally friendly version of stone-washing – to give them a fashionable faded appearance. When you’re fishing there is nothing worse than getting wet feet, especially during the colder months when it can really make you feel cold and uncomfortable, and ruin your session! This fleece has been designed to either be worn as an outer layer during the warmer months, or as a mid-layer when really wrapping up for extreme weather conditions in the winter. It is made from a heavy-knit fleece material and this makes it very warm, as well as being extremely comfortable to wear and with a stylish look. The full length zip means that it is very easy to get on and off, and a snug fitting hood and a collar which comes up high on the neck help to keep any draughts out, as does the fact that it fits fairly close to your body, but without inhibiting movement. One of the most over-looked aspects of keeping warm in the winter is the use of base layers – which those engaging in many winter pursuits wouldn’t dream of foregoing.
