A hoodie for any occasion
Hoodies are a great choice for any outdoor activity, such as angling, as not only do they keep your body warm but you also have a hood to wear if you need a bit of extra warmth. They really are something which can be worn all year round, and not only are they very practical, but they are also comfortable to wear as well, and they look stylish. The Korda hoodie range has expanded over the years from the original TK Hoodie and now includes different hoodies for different times of the year – after all, on a chilly summer night you don’t necessarily want to be wearing something designed for arctic conditions, and the reverse is true with lighter weight ones during the winter months! Hoodies feel really snug to wear whilst at the same time not feeling restrictive when you are active, such as casting out, and have the advantage that the hood can be pulled up and fitted snugly over your head when needed – such as in situations where you might not need a jacket on or the hood on your jacket is warmer than what you need. Plus, they feature large pockets at the front which are great for keeping your hands warm with your arms in a comfortable position, such as when standing looking out at a lake, watching for fish jumping. As well as including different weights and materials of the traditional style of hoodie, the Korda Clothing range also now has zip versions, which make them even more versatile thanks to a full length zip, which some people prefer to the original versions. So, whether you are looking for a hoodie to be worn as a top layer in the warmer months, or something to go under a jacket in the depths of winter, you will find something that suits your style and taste within the Korda range. Korda TK Hoodie The original TK Hoodie is still an incredibly popular choice, especially since the range of different colours has been expanded. Not only does it look good and is tailored to fit your body well, but the 320gsm fleece jersey material means that it feels cosy against your skin, and is especially snug once the hood is up and has been adjusted for a perfect fit via two drawcord loops – especially designed so that they don’t hang down like those found on most hoodies, and potentially get in the way when photographing a fish! Whilst it fits very well and looks great, it also allows you to move freely thanks to the raglan shoulders and stretchy panels under the arms. The sleeves feature thumb holes, so they can be pulled down to keep the backs of your hands warm, or you can keep them warm in the ‘kangaroo pouch’ style pocket at the front – this also has two smaller upright pockets within it which help to store items securely, which might easily otherwise fall out of the main pocket, which is a common issue with these pockets on hoodies. It is available in a choice of black, dark olive, charcoal grey, Dark Kamo, and Light Kamo, in sizes from small to 3XL. Korda Zip Pro Hoodie The Zip Pro Hoodie is extremely good at keeping out the cold and wind, whilst keeping warmth in, thanks to the material used to make it and it is great for use during the colder months. This hoodie uses a blend of 75% cotton and 25% polyester to form a 280gsm double knit, inter-locking fabric, which is really comfortable to wear and even has some water repellent qualities if you do get caught out in the rain. The sleeves feature ribbed cuffs to keep them in place and stop them riding up, such as when putting a coat on over the top, and also help prevent draughts, and the large pocket on each side is ideal for keeping your hands warm. The hood is very snug and can be adjusted, via a drawcord, so that it will stay in place on your head even when it is windy, and the neck comes up higher enough that it keeps out the cold. It comes in olive green and is available in sizes from small to 3XL. Korda Zip Hoodie If you’re looking for a zipped hoodie that is perfect to be worn as a top layer during the summer months, or in conjunction with other layers during the winter, then this is the ideal choice, whatever outdoor activity you’re taking part in, or even for going down the pub. This Zip Hoodie is stylish and well tailored, so won’t look out of place wherever you wear it, and the 280gsm material is made from a mixture of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, and will keep you warm without making you too hot, especially when wearing it on summer evenings as the temperature starts to drop. It allows enough movement for activities such as playing a fish, and has a hood with a draw string to keep out the cold – or even for keeping away mosquitoes! A full length high quality zip is used to do it up, and there is a large pocket on each side. You can choose from olive, black, charcoal, or Dark Kamo versions, in sizes from small to XXXL. Korda Lightweight Hoodie This has been designed for use during the summer months, where you want an extra layer in the evenings or early morning, but don’t want to end up too hot and sweating in a thicker hoodie. The Lightweight Hoodie is made from 270gsm fabric using 58% cotton, 38% polyester and 5% spandex, to create a garment which fits very well and doesn’t hang off of your body, yet has enough stretch in it that you will hardly even notice you are wearing it when engaging in any activity that requires upper body movement. Unlike our other hoodies, this one actually has cuffs and a neck that are deliberately designed to be loose fitting, so as to allow for good air flow and to help prevent you from over-heating whilst wearing it. Available in a choice of black, olive green, or Light Kamo, and in sizes from small to 3XL.

Thermolite will keep you warm in any conditions
When temperatures plummet and icy winds can make it uncomfortable to be outside, you need a jacket that will protect you from the elements and keep you feeling warm and snug. Whether you are out on the bank fishing, walking the dog, or even popping down the pub, the Thermolite Puffer Jacket, will not only keep you warm but is also very comfortable to wear and looks great. Water resistant puffer style jacket The Korda Thermolite Puffer Jacket has been designed with warmth in mind, but is still water resistant enough that it will help to keep you dry if you get caught out in a shower, thanks to the outer material having a 3K hydrostatic head as well as a durable water repellent coating, which has been designed to keep on performing throughout the life of the jacket. Korda Thermolite Puffer Jacket has a hi-tech filling This DWP coating isn’t the only hi-tech material which we’ve utilised, as the jacket is filled with our Thermolite padding, where we’ve used hollow fibre technology to deliver as much warmth as possible from the minimum amount of filling, in terms of its weight. Not only is this filling incredibly warm for its weight and bulk, but it also has hydrophilic properties, which means that it can maintain its performance and help keep you warm even if it does get wet – although the outer is water repellent, it will eventually soak through if you’re out in rain for a prolonged period, and we do sell DryKore jackets that are designed specifically for those conditions. Not only will this filling ensure that you stay warm and helps to provide the optimal amount of heat that your body needs, it also makes the jacket feel very snug to wear, whilst being light enough that it won’t restrict your movements and you can’t feel the weight of it on your body, unlike some jackets of this type. Durable and hard wearing material Being outside all the time, especially around lakes whilst fishing, means that any jacket designed for this purpose has to be hard wearing and able to withstand coming into contact with undergrowth and the like, plus of course during the winter you are going to be wearing it for a large percentage of the time you spend on the bank. To help ensure that it is able to withstand the constant rigors of outdoor pursuits, the outer shell is made from two-layer bonded fabric, which won’t easily snag or tear. Protection from any cold draughts you may encounter whilst wearing it Its warmth is further enhanced by its windproof properties as well, which not only help prevent cold draughts from penetrating through the jacket, but the tailoring, with a longer than usual back, help prevent the jacket from riding up above the top of your trousers when you sit down, and so give your lower back plenty of protection. The neck also zips all the way up to prevent draughts from entering at the top of the jacket, yet still feels very comfortable around your face and neck, and doesn’t feel as though it is restricting you. A padded hood completes the jacket, which is snug enough to keep your head warm and help prevent it from blowing off when it is windy, but still has enough space that a beanie hat or similar can be worn underneath it. High quality materials and components The Thermolite Puffer features two zipped outer pockets, which are not only useful for securely storing things such as your mobile phone, but are fleece lined so are great for keeping your hands warm, such as when stood looking out at the lake. There is also a zipped pocket inside for storing valuables. High quality zips have been used throughout the jacket, and a flap helps ensure that cold air can’t easily get through the two-way main zip. It is available in a choice of olive green or black, in sizes from small to XXXL.
