Classic style polarised sunglasses

Classic style polarised sunglasses

When it comes to sunglasses, personal style and taste plays a massive part in the frame shape, and even colour, which you opt for, and glasses which look great on one person can look terrible on somebody else!

A lot of this comes down to the shape of your face, but the good news is that the Korda Classics polarised glasses have a frame shape which has become a timeless classic – hence the name – and which has remained fashionable for many years.

A good pair of polarised fishing sunglasses is essential, and the Korda Classics offer great performance

Classics will suit any face shape

It also has the advantage of looking good on pretty much anybody, as well as being a very practical and comfortable design to wear.

The Classics will look just as good on you if you’re out shopping or dropping the kids off at school, as they will do when out walking the dog, fishing, or whatever other outdoor pursuits you take part in where polarised sunglasses are of benefit, and there are two different versions to choose from – the Classics or Classics Standard.

Stylish to wear, great performance, and possibly the most important item you use for fishing

This design has long been popular with anglers, as the lens give a good coverage for your eyes and allow you to see plenty, without too much light being able to get between the frame and your face, plus it is very comfortable to wear, to the extent you will hardly even feel that you have these glasses on.

The Classics also feature a very durable frame that will withstand the rigours of regular use out on the bank – although if you are the sort of person who is prone to sitting on, or losing, your sunglasses, then the Classics Standard could be a good option as they are a lot cheaper!

There are lots of brands of fishing glasses, such as fortis eyewear, but you can't beat the Korda Classics for great performance at an affordable price

Great visibility in water thanks to polarised lenses

The original Korda Classics proved to be an instant hit with anglers, thanks to the clearer vision they provided of what was happening below the surface of the water, as well as cutting out glare and reducing eye-strain the rest of the time as well.

Polarised lenses are essential on fishing sunglasses, and the Classics are well protected from scratches thanks to a the hard case they come with - or drawstring bag for the Classics Standard

The Classics polarised sunglasses even offer a choice of lens colour, with the yellow version (tortoiseshell frame) being a great choice for lower light conditions, as they will enhance what light is available. The grey lenses (black frames) are very good in bright conditions, as they block out more of the light, and the brown lenses (tortoiseshell frames) are a real all-rounder which will work well in any light conditions.

Strong and durable

The lenses and frames have been designed to withstand regular outdoor use as much as possible, and are made from strong, durable, lightweight materials – plus the glasses come in a protective case complete with cleaning cloth.

You'll find these fishing sunglasses in stock at your local tackle shop or can order online via the Korda Clothing website

If you are someone who has to wear prescription lenses – such as our own Danny Fairbrass does – then you can buy the Classics as a frame-only option as well and have your own lenses fitted.

A more affordable Classics Standard version is available

For those of you who are prone to damaging glasses, or are on a tighter budget, but still want something which offers a good level of performance, for the price, then the Classics Standard are a great choice for you.

The Classics Standard are even more affordable and are a great pair of fishing sunglasses for the money

They share many of the attributes which make the original Classics so good, but with a slightly thinner lens to make them a very affordable price – although obviously you won't get quite such a high level of performance, and they only come with one lens colour option, brown, which is a good all-round colour.

The frames are matt tortoiseshell and only come in that colour, and they come in a drawstring cloth bag, which can also be used to clean them.
