In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1975 classic flick, starring a rather large shark, we've created our own designs that pay homage to this iconic film while adding our own creative Korda twist. These combat-style trousers have been designed so that they are perfect for anglers. Our own design team re-modelled this classic military design, and opted for a 150gsm ripstop fabric, which is not only lightweight and extremely durable, but also dries very quickly should you get caught out in rain or even fall in the lake! They are the perfect choice during the warmer months of the year, as this material also wicks moisture away from your skin and are also weaved to prevent Mosquito bites. They are secured via a button and a zip fly, plus have buckles on either side so that they can be adjusted for the perfect fit – there are also belt loops should you wish to wear one. You won’t be lacking for pockets either as there are nine in total, with two on each side – one zipped and the other open – plus a large Velcro fastened one on the side of each leg and at the rear, plus pockets within pockets to help you store everything so that you can easily find it but it won’t accidentally fall out. The Quick Dry Shorts are perfect for fishing during the warmer months as they have been designed for use in the water, much like a pair of swimming shorts. When temperatures soar and you don’t want to be sweating in waders, these are the perfect option for walking out into the water to cast out, bait up, or play fish. The Quick Dry Shorts are comfortable to wear and ready for if and when you do want to go in the water in them. They have a shorter fit and are made from a soft-touch 100% polyester microfibre. A mesh inner layer means that they can be worn without underwear, which allows them to dry quickly in the sun. They feature an elasticated waistband, with a push-stud fastener and zipped fly, and a draw cord allows them to be fastened more securely when you do choose to go in the water. There is storage space via two zipped side pockets and one rear pocket – all of which are designed to drain quickly and help speed up the drying process - as well as a small internal pocket.  Available in Black, Burgundy, Olive and Kamo. These shorts were based upon our incredibly popular Kombat trousers and are the perfect choice of attire during the summer months. As anglers, we spend many hours outdoors and it is inevitable that we will be exposed to the sun and its harmful UVA & UVB rays. It is well documented at just how dangerous this can be. As part of Korda’s drive to raise awareness of the dangers of overexposure to the sun, we set about working with a professional pharmaceutical company to develop our own high strength sunscreen designed with anglers in mind.  Korda factor 50+ high protection sunscreen uses an advanced dermatologically tested formula that provides water resistant protection against harmful UVA & UVB rays and is supplied to the NHS, MOD and RNLI to mention a few. The formula is unfragranced, fortified with vitamin E and comes in handy, tackle bag 50ml sized tubes.
