When choosing a jacket for the colder months of the year warmth definitely plays a big part, but just as important is how it feels when you are wearing it.

Uses high performance materials for the outer shell

We have used high tech 6oz insulation for the excellent heat retention that it provides and its ability to regulate your body heat, plus it will continue to perform even if it does get damp, and doesn’t suffer from ‘clumping’ like other fillings can do, especially after prolonged use. So you can be sure it will continue to perform at the optimum level for a long time to come.
The Korda Insulated Jacket also repels water
Not only will this jacket keep you feeling warm when the temperature plummets, but the lightweight, high performance outer shell is also water repellent, so should you get caught out in drizzle, or even snow, then you won’t get soaked, unless you’re in it for a prolonged period of time.
The interior lining has been chosen because of how nice it feels against your skin, and this is especially important when you have it zipped all the way to the top and with the hood up.
Fully adjustable hood for optimal protection
Not only can the hood be adjusted for the perfect fit, so that it is comfortable but at the same time won’t keep blowing off your head, such as when you’re outside playing a fish, but there is also a double sided chin guard that gives your face and neck plenty of protection, as the seal that it provides will prevent cold air and wind from getting inside.
Another area where you can really be exposed to the cold, often without even realising it until it is too late, is at the back of your jacket when sitting, or even bending down, as it rides up and allows the air to penetrate.
Tailored for a great fit
To prevent that from happening, we tailored the jackets so that they have a longer back panel, which will ensure that your lower back stays warm and snug, and this is part of the great fit that the jacket provides overall.
Not only will it keep you feeling great, but unlike some jackets that look like they’ve just been thrown on you, this one has been tailored so that it also looks the part as well, and being more form-fitting also helps with insulation.
Heat can also be lost via the cuffs of a jacket, but not with the Insulated Hooded Jacket as they fit snugly around your wrists, but are made from an exceptionally soft material, so that they’ll still comfortable whilst keeping out cold air and draughts.
This jacket features a secure chest pocket
Pockets on each side at waist level are big enough to put your hands in, and are also at the perfect level to feel comfortable – as well as keeping them warm – if stood in one position for a prolonged period of time, such as stood watching the lake.
These pockets are also zipped so can be used for storage, plus there is a zipped outer pocket on the chest that is great for your mobile phone or car keys.
It comes in a nice Dark Olive shade of green, and Korda Insulated Joggers are also available to go with it and provide a similar level of protection for your lower body as well.
Made from 92% nylon and 8% Spandex for the outer shell, and with a 100% nylon lining, it comes in sizes from small to 4XL, to cater for any size of person, male or female.
