Fleece material is snug and lightweight
Fleeces are known for not only being really snug to wear and feeling great against your skin, but also being very lightweight, compared to the amount of warmth that they provide.
This made a heavy knit fleece material ideal for the arms, hood and side panels, to provide sufficient warmth to those areas, whilst keeping the overall weight of the jacket to a minimum, so that you can hardly feel that you have it on and it doesn’t in any way feel restrictive to your movements.

This means that you still get all the benefits that the hollow fibre technology which made the Thermolite Puffer so good, but with the benefit of unrestricted movement.
The puffer part of the Hybrid Jacket utilises our hi-tech materials to make it as warm as possible, for the given weight, and it is also windproof to prevent any cold draughts from entering. The rear of the jacket is longer than the front, so that when you are bending over, crouching, or sitting, your lower back will still remain protected.
