The Polar Kombats were originally based on army surplus trousers, and have remained unchanged during all that time, as when something does the job as well as these cargo trousers do, there is no need to change it!

These combat-style trousers are ideal for anyone wanting protection from the cold, and whilst originally aimed at the angling market, they’re just as suitable for walking the dog, going on a hike, or even for tradesmen who work outdoors in cold weather.
Stay warm and dry when the temperature drops
The Korda Polar Kombats are made using a breathable outer material, which has been designed so that it repels water and stops it from soaking in.
This has been combined with a 120gsm polar fleece lining, that is not only incredibly warm in even the very coldest temperatures, but also very comfortable to wear as it won’t stick to your skin, plus it helps to wick away any moisture if you do sweat at all.

Korda Kombats are based on a military design of trousers that is not only very practical, but also comfortable. They also look the part and are fashionable, to the extent that you wouldn’t look out of place at your local park or walking down the high street.

Built to last just like the original army surplus trousers
Not only will the Polar Kombats keep you warm and dry, but they will continue to do so for a long time to come, as they’re built to last. The outer shell is made from a rip-stop fabric to prevent accidental tearing, should you come into contact with brambles or similar. Plus is hard wearing to withstand the sort of abuse that fishing trousers typically take, such as kneeling down on the ground or if you accidentally fall. Reinforced stitching ensures that the seams are strong.
Comfortable fit and attention to the details
A wide variety of different sizes are available to fit even the smallest or largest body shapes, and each pair can be further adjusted around the waist for a perfect fit, via a buckle on each side.
There are also loops for a belt – such as the Korda Kore Kwik Draw Belt – should you wish to wear one, plus a zip fly.
A Velcro fastening flap at the bottom of each leg ensures a good fit and prevents draughts, whether you are wearing them with a pair of trainers, walking boots, or wellies/moon boots.
Plenty of storage in these cargo trousers
As you would expect from a pair of Kombat-style trousers, you won’t be lacking for pockets and storage space either, with nine in total!
There are two pockets on either side at the top of the legs – one zipped and ideal for storing valuables, and the other open and ideal for keeping your hands warm. Along with two pockets at the rear and a large cargo-style pocket on each leg, all of which are fastened with a Velcro flap to prevent anything from falling out. There is even a pocket within a pocket, for extra security for your car keys.
