If you want to get your hands on one of these stylish ‘Live for the Dawn’ items of clothing then you will be need to be quick as both the tee and the cap are a limited edition for this summer.
Origins of the design
The design all came about during a filming trip, when Korda boss Danny Fairbrass spotted one of the camera crew wearing a trucker style cap that he liked the look of and was much lighter in colour than most fishing caps.
He had something similar designed, incorporating the Korda logo as if it was the sun just rising above the horizon, and that led him to the tag line ‘Live for the Dawn’, which is something that anyone who spends a lot of time outside, either fishing or other activities, can relate to.
This led onto a t-shirt also being designed with the same logo, and you can now get your hands on both exclusively via the Korda Clothing website.
Live for the Dawn tee
We took our incredibly popular olive and black tie-dye tee and added a large ‘Live for the Dawn’ logo on the back, to create something stylish and unique.
This is the sort of t-shirt that wouldn’t look out of place at a festival or family barbecue, and it can be worn casually just as much as it can for fishing. You’ll also have something that only a limited number of other people will be wearing as well.
It is made from a premium quality fabric, using a mix of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, for a material that has a soft velvety texture and feels great against your skin, as well as helping to wick away sweat.
The tie dye and logo are of a high quality and won’t lose colour even after repeated washes, and the same goes for the shape of this t-shirt, which has been tailored for a good fit and will remain that way.
So not only is the Live for the Dawn tee very functional and practical, but it is also very stylish and feels great to wear as well.
Live for the Dawn trucker cap
This stylish trucker cap can either be worn with the matching t-shirt that has the same Live for the Dawn logo on it, or with any other clothing of your choice.
Although it features our logo and company name, Korda Developments, you wouldn’t instantly associate it as being a fishing cap, as it looks the sort of headwear that you could get away with wearing anywhere, and the logo on the front will appeal to anyone, angler or not, who spends time outdoors.
It is lighter in colour than most fishing caps, with the crown and mesh backing being olive green in colour, and with a mocha coloured peak for a stylish two tone look.
As well as looking good, it is also highly functional, with a structured crown that will keep its shape even after repeatedly being worn, and one size fits all design, with an adjustable snapback fastener at the rear.
The mesh back panel allows plenty of air flow, so not only will it keep the sun off your head, but will also help to keep you cool at the same time.
The pre-curved peak offers plenty of protection in terms of keeping the sun out of your eyes – something that anglers will find especially useful when combined with a set of Korda polarised sunglasses – and will retain its shape.
